About this condition

Generalized hyperhidrosis is a condition where a person sweats excessively all over the body, beyond what is needed for normal temperature regulation. This can be caused by infections, hormonal imbalances, diabetes, thyroid disorders, certain medications, or menopause. While often manageable, persistent excessive sweating requires medical evaluation to rule out underlying conditions.
