About this condition

Myogenic ptosis of the left eyelid occurs when the muscle responsible for lifting the eyelid becomes weak or damaged, causing the eyelid to droop. This can be present from birth or develop later due to muscular diseases, aging, or nerve problems. It may interfere with vision if severe and can affect appearance and daily activities.
