Rift Valley fever

Rift Valley fever is a viral disease spread by mosquitoes and contact with infected animals, particularly livestock. Though rare in India, it causes sudden fever, severe body aches, and in some cases can lead to bleeding, vision problems, or brain inflammation. People working closely with animals or in areas with recent livestock outbreaks are at higher risk.
